In the time that Matt and Eliza spent with Todd, throughout the haircut and dinner and watching game shows with the family, Matt had decided that Todd was a pretty okay guy. Prologue
Once, there was a planet named Earth. It was an ordinary planet where everything had a logical explanation. Some things remained unexplained on the planet, but that was only because the locals who inhabited the place had not figured it out yet.
However, there came a day when that planet became less ordinary and less explainable. The locals named the very day April 17th, 1991.
That day, like many days, was a day in which a woman stopped being pregnant and started being a mother to a beautiful baby boy.
And a mother she was. The child never left her sight, not for a minute.
And so everything seemed as though it was still ordinary
